Circa 1900, South Central Caucasus. Mihrab with serrated edges in an indigo field, the prayer field with dense lollipop flowerheads within iron brown latticework. Upper quadrant of rug woven with four stylized animals within a main border of modified running dog pattern on a madder red ground. SIZE: 2′ 9″ x 4′ 9″.
