Early 19th century, New England. Having carved and turned back posts with straight top splat, three horizontal center rails separated with balls and a narrow lower rail. The rush seat swelling outward and in the front joined to turned legs and bowed front double stretcher with three balls separating. Set consists of 6 straight and 2 armchairs. Allover red and black grained with gold and yellow pin-striping having fruit stenciled backs. SIZE: 32-1/2″ H, 21-1/2″ L, 17″ D CONDITION: Very good with minor wear commensurate with age. 9-94385 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 2378
