ESKIMO SCRIMSHAW TUSK. Late 19th century. Scrimmed overall with scenes of a walrus hunt depicting the hunt, the kill, the return to the Kiva or Qargi (a communal building), and ceremonial dance. The reverse uncarved. SIZE: 16-3/4″ l. PROVENANCE: From a private Utah collection.
