Massive 3-color recruiting broadside for the 3rd Delaware Infantry who saw service throughout the war in Virginia and North Carolina. Impressive 12″ x 19″ vignette of a Union Zouave about to kill a Confederate color bearer still grasping his stars and bars. SIZE: 38″ x 24″. PROVENANCE: Norm Flayderman Estate Collection. CONDITION: Fair to good overall. Mounted on linen with 2 grommets in upper corners, soiling and chipping around edges with no loss to text. “3rd Delaware Inf” is penciled in above Colonel Jenkins name.
