MAHOGANY HEPPLEWHITE TAMBOUR SECRETARY DESK. Probably Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Mahogany Hepplewhite tambour secretary desk with cutout base and drop center panel. Secretary top having two lateral slatted rolls centered by a door revelaing drawer compartments. The rolls reveal pigeon holes and string inlaid drawer. Top is banded with checkered inlaid trim. Drawers and face panels banded with satin and ebony inlay. SIZE: 36-1/2″w x 19″d x 47″h. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate.
