PAIR OF LATE GEORGIAN INLAID KNIFE BOXES WITH CUTLERY.Late 18th century, England. The boxes featuring sloping lift lids and serpentine fronts in mahogany and figured mahogany with rope spiraling corner bead trim, fitted with an inlaid decorated interior and an inlaid mariner’s compass on the interior of the lid. Containing various period examples of flatware and cutlery with stag, bone and horn handles. Approx 100 pieces. SIZE: 15″ h x 11-1/2″ d x 8-1/2″ l.
