NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY DINING TABLE. Second half 18th century, Boston or North Shore, Massachusetts. The large rectangular top with hinged rectangular leaves projecting above a shaped apron raised on tapering cabriole legs terminating in boldly carved talon and ball feet. SIZE: 27-1/2″ h. 17″ closed w. 59″ open w. 48″ l. CONDITION: Professionally cleaned and polished surfaces with minor restoration at area of hinges. Two returns at apron absent.
