Late 19th, early 20th century, West Persia. Central poled geometric lozenge medallion with rows of dense polychrome flowerheads on a deep indigo ground within a zigzag striped border further within a madder red conforming field with polychrome arrowheads within an ivory main border of geometric devices and spandrels within medium indigo and madder red guard borders. SIZE: 4′ 6″ x 6′ 1″. CONDITION: Overall even wear retaining strong color and design. Small areas of wear in foundation of floral medallions. Good overall. 9-94024 (800-1,200) – Lot 2195
