AMERICAN HISTORICAL WAR OF 1812 PITCHER. This pitcher has copper lustre highlights and has two transfers. The first titled “The Constitution taking the Cyane and Levant”. The transfer depicts the Constitution engaged in battle with the two British ships. The other transfer is titled “The United States and Masedonia” and depicts the United States in the heat of battle and dismasting the Masedonia. SIZE: 5-1/2″ H x 3-3/8″ W. PROVENANCE: From a private New Jersey collection. CONDITION: There are several flea bite chips around the spout. A larger spout chip near the tip is under the copper lustre decoration so occurred in the manufacturing process. 9-90907 (1,200-1,600)
