PATRIOTIC YELLOWWARE PITCHER. A two transfer circa 1815 American patriotic pitcher with a yellow ground cover and silver lustre highlights. Both transfers feature an American eagle over a 16 star American flag and a Ring of States motif with “Peace, Plenty and Independence” in the center. Two goddesses flank the transfer. One of agriculture, one of liberty. There is a 19 pointed star under the spout. SIZE: 6-1/4″ H x 4″ W. PROVENANCE: From a private New Jersey collection. CONDITION: Generally excellent with very minor wear to the silver lustre highlights. 9-90911 (1,000-1,500)
