Late 19th century, Russia. Finely decorated on two sides, the first with a scene of Christ’s ascension, the second gilt decorated with iconography from the Russian orthodox Christian church. On the base of the egg the mark for the Lukutin Laquer shop together with gilt Imperial two headed eagle. SIZE: 3-1/2″ H.
