DUTCH GOBLET.

A splendidly engraved large Dutch goblet with a superbly executed engraving of a war ship covering 1/3 of the bowl. Rigging, windows and gun ports are exceptionally well articulated by the engraver. Near the rim of the glass are engraved the words “HET WEL VAAREN VAN DE VREYE SEEVAARD”. Glass is blown in 3 pieces and has a folded foot. Quite an beautiful glass. SIZE: 8-1/8″ t.
