LOT OF SIX CONTINENTAL WINE GLASSES.

1) A large cut panel decorated wine glass engraved with a lion passant central device, surrounded by 7 crowned royal Coats of Arms. 2)An 8 sided bowl wine glass with cut panel decoration forming the 8 sides. Engraved with a Coat of Arms the central device being 4 six pointed stars and the letter “Z”. Beneath the Coat of Arms is engraved “Niesen Decanus. The opposite side of the glass is engraved “Vivet Decanus Cum Capitulo in Cardona 1729″. 3)A pair of wine glasses cut panel decorated with gold rims, each engraved with a crowned Coat of Arms. 4)A pair of cut panel decorated wine glasses with no engraving. SIZE: Tallest 7-1/4″. Smallest 5-1/4”. PROVENANCE: From a Boothbay Harbor, Maine Estate. CONDITION: 1) Glass is undamaged. 2) 1/8″ flake off the top and 3 other very minor flakes. 3) One is undamaged the other has a 1/4″ & 1/8″ flake off the rim. 4) One is perfect and one has 2 minor flakes on the rim. 9-93542 (800-1,000) – Lot 2167
