LATE 18TH CENTURY FIVE PIECE DELFT GARNITURE SET.

A fine late 18th century polychromatic garniture set with various bird & flower motifs combined with a fanciful dragon. The set includes 2 large vases, 2 bottle shaped vases and a jar. The base is signed “BP”, probably the “De Vergulde Blompot” factory, circa 1790 to 1800. SIZE: Largest 11″ t. Smallest 8-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. Grogan & Co. Sale 126 June 6, 2001 Lot 454. CONDITION: There are several small chips on the rims and feet of the four bases. None are very large or offending. The jar, also showing small chips to the base and top, has one substantial chip measuring nearly 1″ on the rim. 9-93391 (3,000-5,000) – Lot 2161
