FINE STORAGE CONTAINER WITH LID. First quarter 19th century, New England. The slightly tapering body with integral raised band design, the fitted lid with applied mushroom cap. Carved from one piece of wood with inset bottom. Finely turned with nice dry original red paint surface. SIZE: 5-1/2″ T x 6″ dia. CONDITION: Very good. 9-90981 (500-800)
