PAINTED WOOD SPOON RACK WITH 12 LARGE PEWTER SPOONS.

17th century and later, Continental. Spoon rack with scrolling and architectural top having traverse mounted holders for 12 spoons. All with forged nail construction. Accompanying this lot are 12 round bowl, straight handled, rat tail pewter spoons some bearing a mark believed to be that of Edmund Dolbeare. SIZE: Rack 16″ x 9″. Spoons 6-1/2″ to 7″. CONDITION: Rack with minor drying split, a few worm holes and paint loss commensurate with age. Bottom spoon rack a 19th century replacement.
