The 19th century autograph book opens to reveal a 3″ x 2-1/2″ note “I can only say I have made the acquaintance of the writer, and believe him to be a most worthy gentleman whom I would be glad to see promoted. A Lincoln Sep 26, 1864″; on the 4th page is glued an Andrew Jackson autograph and an Andrew Johnson autograph. Other autographs include H. Hamlin, W.H. Seward, Charles Sumner, Jefferson Davis, B.F. Butler, E.B. Washburne, John Logan and many others. Approx. 300 autographs. SIZE: 8″ x 5-1/4”. CONDITION: Generally very good. 9-90943 (5,000-8,000)
