GEORGIAN SATINWOOD CARVED AND INLAID KNEEHOLE DESK.

Mid to late 18th century, England, with rectangular top, figured satin wood banding with mahogany having ebony and satin wood inlay centered with oval paterae inlay. Above, one long drawer and six smaller drawers with similar satin wood and banding. The kneehole embellished with an arch scroll having similar inlay and quartered patera decoration. The two pedestals setting atop corner bracketed feet with similar inlay decoration, the ends with similar panels and banding. Having oak secondary wood and of diminutive size. SIZE: 30-1/2H x 33-1/2W x 19-1/2″D CONDITION: Very good, professional refinish with a small amount of professional veneer restoration. 9-94002 (4,500-6,500) – Lot 2131
