SEMI-ANTIQUE FERAGHAN RUG. Late 19th/early 20th century, Western Persia. Lobed arabesque medallion centering a flower head in shades of rose, cream and light blue within an ivory field of dense floral vinery within pale indigo spandrels with rose scrolling borders, the main border of scrolling botehs alternating with lotus blossoms within multiple floral guard borders. The whole in a soft muted palette. SIZE: 4’2″ x 6′. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate. CONDITION: Generally very good with even wear overall, retaining considerable pile. 9-92879 (500-1,000)
