Fine late 18th century George III triple compartment tea caddy having solid elm burl end front and interior panels and carved bracket corner feet banded with satinwood and ebony retaining original brass hardware. Interior lids paneled with mitered framed corners. SIZE: 8″ H, 13 1/4″ L, 7 1/2″ W PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: Minor loss to back edge of lid molding, small loss to base molding in back of caddy and small losses to ebony inlay on lid. 9-93331 (400-600) – Lot 2110
