FORGED IRON PENNY FOOT TRIVET AND A PUSH-UP IRON HOGSCRAPER CANDLESTICK. Late 18th/early 19th century. The forged iron shield form trivet with triangular ribbon design on flattened tapered legs with penny feet, with pierced lollipop end in black paint. The sheet iron hogscraper candlestick with original black painted surfaces. This example never had a chair hook. SIZE: Trivet: 12″ L. Candlestick: 7″ T.
