TIGER MAPLE FLAT TOP HIGHBOY. This highboy was made with very well figured tiger maple having heavy crown molding. Two over four graduating drawer top cabinet. Base has four drawers. One full width over three drawers with two deep drawers flanking a shallow drawer. Elaborate carved apron. Cabriole legs with shell carved knees and trifed feet of different origin. SIZE: Upper case: 34-3/4″w. Lower case: 37-1/2″w x 20″d x 70″h. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate. CONDITION: Upper and lower case re-finished with minor lip repair. Trifed feet probably a modern addition. 9-92296 (1,500-2,500)
