SIX PIECE LONDON SILVER LOT CASTER FRAME AND MISCELLANEOUS CASTERS.

Consisting of a caster frame and three associated casters all marked LONDON 1844 with makers Mark “I.D” the frame with shell decoration, intended to hold five casters. The casters repousse decorated with florals and cartouche having foliate finials, together with a fine Georgian footed caster with incised concentric rings, bulbous body with gadrooned rim and engraved cover with spiral flamed finial. Dated 1799, bearing the mark of “Peter, Ann & William Bateman”. Also with a similar caster having flaring gadrooned rim, dated 1796 and bearing the mark of “Samuel and Edward Davenport”. WEIGHT: 42 tr. oz. SIZE: Caster frame 9-1/2″, Bateman caster 5-1/2″. CONDITION: All in very good condition, except Davenport caster has a small compression dent in base. 9-94271, 9-94273 (700-900) – Lot 2099
