DECORATED STONEWARE COOLER AND TWO-GALLON PITCHER. Both made in the mid 19th century, probably Pennsylvania or New York. The cooler has a blue central leafy flower above which is a “10” flanked by two leaves in between two broad lines. Double handles and a raised round collar for spigot hole. The large pitcher decorated in blue with large leafy flowers and incised mark “2”. SIZE: 1) 22″ h x 13″ at widest. 2) 13-1/2″ h x 9″ at widest. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate. CONDITION: 1) Only minor imperfections. 2) Two top rim chips, some imperfections in firing. Generally very good. 9-92233 (1,000-1,500)
