QUEEN ANNE INLAID MAHOGANY CANDLESTAND.Last quarter 18th century, probably Coastal Massachusetts. The square top with incurved corners centering a “compass rose” style inlay of ebony and satinwood joined to the ring-turned swelled standard with spiral turned urn raised on a tripod cabriole leg base continuing to outswept ridged pad feet. SIZE: 26-2/4″ h x 14-3/4″ l x 14-1/4″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: Original surfaces now professionally cleaned and repolished.
