PIERCED CHEESE STRAINER. Circa 1820, Pennsylvania. The decorated strainer of rolled sheet iron decorated with three punched medallions each centering hex symbols surrounded by flowers within double banded borders of geometric designs. The canted sides with rolled edge affixed with swivel hanger on a base of three triangular feet. SIZE: 15″ x 15″ – 3″ T. CONDITION: Surfaces with untouched dark patina.
