QUEEN ANNE CHERRY FLAT TOP HIGHBOY WITH FAN CARVINGS.

Mid 18th century New England. Featuring an upper section with well-developed crown molding above a fan carved center drawer flanked by two narrow side drawers above four graduated lip molded drawers. The two drawers separated by a waist molding. The base with one long drawer above two deep drawers flanking a fan carved center drawer with deep scalloped apron; having tall cabriole legs with scrolled knees atop pad feet. Base and top both of the period but of different origin. Both sections having pine secondary wood. SIZE: 70″ h x 37″ w x 19″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good, having replaced waist molding, replaced hardware and upper center drawer carved to match lower drawer at the time the two sections were joined; with other very minor restoration. 9-93268 (2,000-3,000) – Lot 2079
