QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY STYLE TRAY TOP TEA TABLE.

Mid-19th century or later, Massachusetts. The rectangular tray top with molded edges above a conforming frieze, the cyma-shaped apron with finely carved scrolling and spurred edges raised on delicate tapering cabriole legs terminating in spoon pad feet. SIZE: 27″ h x 29-1/2″ l x 18-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: From a fine private Long Island, NY collection. CONDITION: The table retains finely polished old surfaces with mellow patina. Original glue blocks, one absent. Minimal and minor roughness and shrinkage crack within inner edge of top molding. Center of table top with old faint darkened water ring.
