SAROUK CARPET. Second quarter 20th century, Central Persia. The central floral medallion on a wine red field with stylized sprays and floral vinery throughout within a main border of scrolling lotus blossoms and vinery on a blue/black ground within floral guard borders. SIZE: 9′ x 11’6″. CONDITION: Very good overall with nearly full pile. No staining or repairs evident. Loss of fringe to ends. Generally very good. 9-92032 (2,000-4,000)
