FOLK ART HORSE AND SULKY WEATHERVANE ATTRIBUTED TO A.E. JEWELL. Last quarter 19th century, Waltham, Massachusetts. The horse of typical Jewell form with flattened full body and applied sheet copper mane, mounted on copper tubing, the sulky and rider of sheet copper. Now offered with museum stand. SIZE: 32″ L x 11″ T. CONDITION: With excellent verdigris surface, minor seam separations. The reigns and sulky wheels with light denting. Otherwise very good. 9-92090 (2,000-5,000)
