FINE EARLY 19TH CENTURY OAK SHIP’S CAPTAIN DECANTER SET. Cased in an iron-bound oak chest, having 11 matching free-blown rectangular bottles etched with tulips and pontiled. Having two delicate ruffled based free-blown cordial glasses and two free-blown etched glass sipping glasses. Case fitted and lined with velvet. Bottles having silver plate ringed stoppers. SIZE: Chest – 17″ x 10-1/2″ x 11″. PROVENANCE: From a fine Kentucky Estate. CONDITION: One bottle missing, one bottle with neck chip, one bottle with reglued fracture, otherwise very good condition. 9-92305 (800-1,200)
