Oil on board scene shows the white hulled three-mast schooner sailing right to left in stormy seas under dark & light gray ominous sky. Seven figures on deck and the flag of Norway flies off stern. One sail is ripped and fluttering in the wind and two lifeboats are off their mounts. Signed lower right “Antonio Jacobsen 1908″. Housed in a molded silver gilt wood frame. SIZE: 22″ x 36″.
