ENFIELD SNIDER CONVERSION MUSKET. CAL. 57 Snider. Usual 3-band musket with brass nose cap, trigger guard and buttplate. The lock plate with usual markings dated 1858 and the stock with the Enfield cartouche on the right side and what appear to be Canadian markings on the left side. CONDITION: Good to very good. The bbl and breech block are a dark brown patina with moderate rust. Lock plate and hammer are a gray-brown patina, brass has a dark mustard patina. Strong dark bore that may clean better. 4-45298 JL227 (400-700)
