ENFIELD MUSKET WITH SNIDER CONVERSION. CAL. 57 Snider. Standard Enfield musket with Snider conversion breech block marked “B.S.A. CO.”. 3-bbl bands with slotted ramrod usual lock plate markings dated 1864 with Enfield cartouche on the right side of the stock and a diamond with “DC” on the left side of the stock. CONDITION: The metal retains a mottled blue-gray patina overall. Brass a dark mustard patina and the light colored wood most of an old refinish. Strong, dark bore. 4-45297 JL229 (500-800)
