UNSIGNED (American, Mid 19th Century) PORTRAIT OF HARRY HERBERT KEITH (1851-1925) FROM NEWTON, MASS. Oil on canvas Housed in a decorated gilt frame Unsigned Accompanying the portrait are two daguerreotypes. One of Harry & his mother dated April 17, 1852 aged 5 months, 2 days. The other shows Harry wearing the dress he wears in the portrait NOTE: Harry H Keith was son of William Ward Keith & Cordelia Bryant Keith – Harry married Louisi Jackson related to Jackson Family among first families in Newton, MA. This couple lived in the Jackson homestead which is now the Newton Historical Society Museum.
