Watercolor and ink Housed in a natural wood frame with white mat behind glass Signed lower right “Mary Preble” NOTE: On Jan. 11-12 1975 a retrospective memorial exhibit of paintings and drawings of the late Mary Preble of Augusta occurred. She was one of the earliest exhibiting artists and longtime member of the Executive Committee of the Maine Art Gallery. She was a graduate of Boston University and received her M.F.A. degree from Iowa State University. A copy of a Maine newspaper article is attached to the reverse with this information.
