Oil on canvas scene shows a young boy with long blonde hair and blue eyes seated holding his black and white small dog. He wears a a scotch plaid type dress in red, green and white and white pantaloons. Beside him is his black decorated top hat and on the other side flower plants with pink and yellow blossoms. Painted in oval form with black corners. Housed in a partial gilt replacement frame, unsigned, Baltimore & New York canvas stamp to verso.
