Mid 19th century, New England. Having two straight splats above four short spindles. Splats mortised into turned and carved posts. Carved and shaped seat with rolled front above turned legs with turned front stretcher. All over red and black grain painting with yellow pin striping having stenciled fruit basket and floral decoration.
