RELIEF CARVED AND PAINTED SELF-FRAMING BARBER POLE TRADE SIGN. Mid 19th century, American. The flattened half round pole with incised red, white and blue stripes and with a carved black painted plinth and cap, all within a carved putty colored frame. SIZE: 15-1/2″ Diameter. CONDITION: Untouched original paint surface with age appropriate abrasions and minor paint flaking. Generally good. 9-91556 (500-1,000)
