HERIZ CARPET. First quarter 20th century, Northwest Persia. The geometric poled medallion in shades of indigo, green and blue on a madder red ground within geometric ivory and red spandrels. The blue/black main border with scrolling saz leaf and floral designs. SIZE: 8’6″ x 10″. CONDITION: Generally good, with one third having minor losses to foundation.
