DIMINUTIVE SHERATON MAHOGANY AND BIRDSEYE MAPLE BOWFRONT SERVER. Circa 1825, New England. The rectangular bowfront case fitted with two graduated center drawers flanked by a door on one end and deep drawer at the opposing end raised on tapering turned legs with ebony inlay overall and lion mask brass drop pulls. SIZE: 40″ W x 19″ D x 35″ T. CONDITION: Very good, end panels with typical minor shrinkage cracks, good old finish, retaining most of original color. 9-92115 (2,000-3,000)
