SHEET IRON CHANDELIER. Circa 1800, American. This nice six arm example with round shaft terminating in fluted crimped cap retaining original hanging chain. With double “Witches Hat” ribbed body supporting six detachable cyma shaped arms with slotted candle cups and pie crust crimped bobeches. The whole terminating in weighted double conical pendant centering a flattened disk. In early dry green paint over original bittersweet paint. SIZE: 23-1/2″ Diameter x 23-1/2″ T. CONDITION: Very good untouched condition. 9-91504 (1,500-3,000)
