FEDERAL MAHOGANY DEMILUNE CARD TABLE. Circa 1810, New England. The hinged demilune top with string inlay border above the conforming frieze of figured mahogany panels with contrasting stringing raised on tapering square legs each headed by an inlaid oval patera, the legs with crossbanded satinwood cuffs. SIZE: 29″ h x 36″ w 17-3/4″ d. PROVENANCE: From a Maine estate. CONDITION: Table retains original surfaces, top with slight warp, satin cuff inlays absent on three of four legs.
