PAIR OF EXPORT PORCELAIN VASES WITH COVERS. Kang Hsi period (1662-1722), China. Modeling in K’ang Hsi style, but of lobated form. Decoration in underglaze blue. Panels of flower pots alternating with robed women. Each with notched disc form lid decorated with diaperwork and foo dog knop. Base with Yu (jade) mark. SIZE: 5-3/4″ h. PROVENANCE: Purchased from Christie’s, London. CONDITION: Chips to foot rim & chip on one interior rim of cover. 9-25738 HMG (4,000-6,000)
