WROUGHT AND SHEET IRON PHOENIX BANNERETTE WEATHERVANE. Last quarter 19th century, American. Tapered wrought iron rod with ball finial mounted with a wrought iron scrolling bannerette, the front of which is mounted with a sheet-iron figure of a phoenix in profile above a copper suppressed ball finial. The whole now on a museum stand. SIZE: 54″ h overall x 28″ w. CONDITION: Generally very good with light rusting and pitting commensurate with age. 7-70061 (2,000-3,000)
