SILVER CASED PRESENTATION WATCH OF THEOPHILUS JONES. Circa 1867. England. The key wind Fusee movement silver cased pocket watch with enamel dial and Roman numeral chapter ring with sweep seconds subsidiary dial, a presentation gift to Theophilus Jones for his heroic behavior in saving the life of an injured crewman aboard the ship “Marmion” wrecked at Gyllyngvase Beach off of Falmouth Harbor the morning of March 17th, 1867.
