THREE FRAMED HISTORICAL PRINTS. 1) Black and white engraving by John B. Guerrazzi, titled in legend below print “The attack made on Tripoli on the 3d August 1804 by the American Squadron under Comodore Edward Preble to whom this plate is respectfully dedicated by his obedient servant – sold in Leghorn 1805.” 2) Engraving “American Star” of four Presidents. Printed by “Shelton & Kensett Cheshire Conn – N. York Design Engraved by Thos Gimbrede Jan 30th 1812”. The engraving shows ovals of four Presidents: Washington, Jefferson, Madison and Adams. 3) “Battle at Bunkers Hill” colored lithograph by “J. Baillie”. Housed in a period frame. SIZE: 1) Sight: 13-1/2″ x 17-1/4″. 2) Sight: 9-1/2″ x 10-3/4″. 3) 9″ x 14-1/2″. CONDITION: 1) Vertical split down the middle, several margin tears, not examined out of frame. 2) Horizontal fold mark on bottom third, toning, good. 3) Stains, not examined out of frame. 7-72628 (300-500)
