TERRESTRIAL 32″ LIBRARY GLOBE. First half 20th century. Manufactured by Replogle Globes Inc., Chicago, Illinois. Designed and edited by Gustav Brueckmann, Cartographer. The metal globe overlaid with paper swiveling within a brass mount set within a carved mahogany floor stand with acanthus carved columnar supports. SIZE: 46″ h overall x 38″ dia overall. CONDITION: The surfaces of globe in “as found” condition with extensive abrasions and losses throughout. Maps remain legible. Frame generally good. 9-25964 (2,000-4,000)
