EARLY AMERICAN PINE AND IRON CHANDELIER. Third quarter 18th century, New England. The ring-turned shaft in original red paint mounted with sheet-iron band emitting three delicate scrolled candle arms terminating in slotted candle cups and fluted bobeches. Shaft with graceful pigtail iron hanger. Bottom of shaft applied with cuff and hoop. SIZE: 19-1/2″ h overall. CONDITION: Very good overall with minor shrinkage cracks and checking to shaft.
