NEW ENGLAND SPINDLE BACK WINDSOR CHAIR. Circa 1800, probably Maine. The curved nine spindle back with conforming crest rail joined to a nearly round plank seat raised on simulated bamboo turned legs joined by box stretchers. SIZE: 32″ h of back, 16″ h of seat. CONDITION: Re-glued with old crusty varnished surfaces. 7-70052 (700-900)
